Because these thefts typically involve commerce, which is overseen on a federal level, the crime you are being accused of is one that will be prosecuted in federal courts. Not all lawyers have experience in these courts. An identity theft defense attorney will.

Website address registration is full of tricks and pitfalls. Always verify what you get finally and never go only for cheap rates. Sometimes it is worth the effort to pay higher fees for real quality work. The general complications that arise as a consequence of registering with malafide registrars are many and damaging. The unscrupulous registrar could sell the valuable domain name by registering it in their name instead of the website owner. The registrar could disappear overnight leaving you in the lurch.

I am especially interested in the privacy presentation, but I look forward to the entire program. Also, THANK YOU to the Technology Law Section for choosing to continue to support COMPUTERS FOR YOUTH with part of the fee. Your donation last year helped CFY bring computers loaded with educational software to all of the families of 6th graders in 8 middle schools in metro-Atlanta last school year.

Yep, this is going to be fun. Cloud computing makes good sense technically - however, the notion of 'where' will be tested in some very unusual cases. I'll be an interested observer as this develops.

Is Georgia still one of two states in the U.S. that requires time limits on disclosure of confidential information? Apparently not. Subsection (e) of Code Section 13-8-53 expressly allows nondisclosure agreements to protect information for so long as the information remains confidential. I guess we just need to watch out for agreements in Wisconsin.
